I set a formatting rule in the calculated value field I use for the total in a repeating table to hide the field if the sum of the column is zero. This works fine if the values typed into the table are zero, but if the field is simply blank, then the total still displays as zero.

I want to suppress the display of the total when it is zero. This must be really simple, but I don't get it....

Hmm. I kind of don't get it either - can you include a screenshot with a reply? Under the Options tab. :)

 Could you try to unmark Treat blank values as zeros in Form Options?
Just guessing

I think you may want to add another condition to hide if all occurances of your field are blank.
