We have a .Net batch job that takes InfoPath 2007 forms, saves them as PDFs using the MS Save as PDF Office add-in, and then uploads the PDFs to a SharePoint folder. The SharePoint site was recently upgraded and is now on a new server, so this .Net job had to be moved to that server (SharePoint API only works from the SharePoint server, ...

IIS is not needed for the DBXL Standalone Edition.
When installing DBXL Client on Windows 7, you might run into an installation failure with an error that reads: "Failure registering DBXL Standalone dashboard. The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. encountered a critical error and needs attention."
In the eventvwr, you ...

I wanted to tell you that, the IIS was not installed when i installed the DBXL, can that be the reason of failure in installation?
I checked the it says QDabra DBXL standalone edition status - started , startup type - automatic(delayed)
In the event log: there are many errors, I think you are right, the installation was not ...

It's a problem that needs to be attacked on two fronts: rows and columns. How many columns are you bringing back? How many rows are you bringing back?
If you're using SharePOint 2010 (or Office 365), you can declare the value of a field in the queryFields of the data connection. Then when the data connection executes, the results come ...

Thanks for the additional information. It sounds like DBXL just didn't install correctly. I would suggest verifying two places:
1. Check whether the service is installed and running (not Stopped)
2. Check the eventvwr, under the Qdabra log, to see if errors ocurred around the time of the DBXL installation.
It seems like you will eventually ...

You're right InfoPath doesn't do dynamic widths. It also isn't very good with reporting results graphically. Perhaps you can consider using the chart web part? http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint-server-help/introduction-to-the-chart-web-part-HA101889216.aspx
You can use InfoPath to gather the data then sent the ...

You don't need custom code to accomplish this in InfoPath, just rules. Create an action rule on dropdown1 that says if dropdown1 = YES then set a field's value dropdown2 = NO and set a field's value dropdown3 = NO. Similarly you would create rules for dropdown2 and dropdown3 to set the other two values to NO. ...

Hi there,
There is definitely no way to do this in the designer UI. You may be able to open up the source files and do this, but probably a long shot. If you are entering manual values, you can add your own "------------------" entry, but nothing is really preventing the user from selecting it. Sorry couldn't be ...
