• Re: Rule - If all values in a repeating field do not contain field string

Do you want to hide an individual row that doesn't match or do you want to hide the entire repeating control? If its the former, you could try using a formatting rule. I think you also may want to select just the CTIssue field instead of ALL. If its the latter, then you'll need to surround the repeating control in a ...

  • Rule - If all values in a repeating field do not contain field string

Hi InfoPathers, I have a repeating table in the main data source. One of the repeating fields (CTIssue) in the table is drop-down control that gets its choices from the secondary data source. In a seperate view, I added the same secondary data source as a repeating section. I am attempting to apply a rule to ...

  • Re: qRules encryption algorithm

qRules uses the Rijndael algorithm. You can learn more here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.security.cryptography.rijndaelmanaged.aspx The encrypted data is converted to base64 and then returned to the node specified in the /xpath parameter for the command.

  • qRules encryption algorithm

Is it possible to see the source code for the qRules encryption algorithm? Reason I ask is I would like to pull all the encrypted data into an Excel file and decrypt it there. I'm assuming the encrypted data is stored as a long text string in the XML file. Our HR dept wants to create a form containing sensitive data. They also want to be ...

  • Re: Filter a SharePoint List on a date field

Is ClassDate the date field in the main data source? Is it a dateTime data type? XML dateTime values have a T between date & time. It seems you could have used rules for this instead of code? Put a rule on ClassDate to set ClassDateTest to include the T and the 0s. I guess I'm also wondering why you aren't just using an expression ...

[quote user="Michael Vasquez"] I finally got i to work properly for the SHAREPOINT Class, It should work on the others. What I did was to change the format of the DateClass Field in code such as:Public Sub ClassDate_Changed(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As XmlEventArgs) Dim xpn As XPathNavigator = Me.CreateNavigator()Dim ns ...

  • PowerShell Script to find all InfoPath forms - Need to know how to use

I've found online two different Powershell scripts to run to locate all infopath forms on your Web Application. • Re: I can't connect to web service on VSTA

It is amazing how much easier it is write code when you can run in debug and figure out what your mistakes are, and it is something I think is often assumed (incorrectly) that everyone already knows this....
