Hi - what is your rule that is setting the form field? Are there any other rules that may be affecting it? Drag your SharePoint list data connection onto the form and verify the values in the column are what you think they will be....

Because we don't have a central drive that all of our users have access to, we deployed our InfoPath Evaluation Document form via a website and just had the users download the template to their local drive.  Obviously the main problem with this is when we want to update the template, they have to go and re-download the latest ...

Caching can be an issue sometimes - so glad that was it this time!

 Yes, the attached pdf is sent within the xml as a byte stream. For testing purposes, the stream is sent thru a base 64 decode and then displayed. Viewing the pdf file within Wordpad prior to sending thru the form and after sending it thru the form demonstrates the differences highlighted above. Thanks for helping!
