Because we don't have a central drive that all of our users have access to, we deployed our InfoPath Evaluation Document form via a website and just had the users download the template to their local drive. Obviously the main problem with this is when we want to update the template, they have to go and re-download the latest update. We are now in the process of rolling out SharePoint and would like to house the Evaluation Document in SharePoint but still have everyone fill in the form on the InfoPath client. Does anyone know if this is possible? If it is possible, how do I make sure they are using the latest template rather than the one on their local drive?
We are just using this form as a paper document and not utilizing any workflow or submit options.
