Thanks for the information. I would recommend:
1. Make sure that the site has been added to Internet Explorer's Local Intranet.
2. Does the computer have multiple versions of Office/InfoPath? If so, that might be the issue.
3. Perform an Office repair.
Let me know if any of the ideas above help.

Hi,
Thanks for trying our products.
DBXL client will download the XML forms stored in your SharePoint form library and map them to SQL according to the Database mapping that has been set up in the DBXL Admin Tool (DAT). You don't need to install the server version of DBXL for this scenario.
Before you are able to use the Standalone ...

So I think what you're saying is that the data connection is returning one row with field1, field2, field3. And what you want is a dropdown in the form that shows these three as the options within the dropdown?
Again, if all you want is:[quote user="Ghoztrider"]a filtered text field to populate with the data from a field in ...

Ok, that's odd. If you've updated the data connection source data, then the dropdown should be updated. If you make changes to the template and those are the versioning settings, then both the template and the existing xml forms should be updated. Perhaps try creating a new/test form with a data connection similar to the one used in the ...

I'm confused by your last response, sorry. If this doesn't make sense below, my apologies.
Let's say you have permissions set up somewhere, or a filter based on assignee, and these are looking at the xpath:
/my:myFields/my:containerGroup/my:repeatingGroup/my:assignee
which is a repeating node and has three rows, Bob, Sue and ...

I'm not sure what you mean by "file", but just make sure that your secondary data sources have data in them. You can temporarily display the data from the secondary data sources in the view by dragging the nodes into the view. This will at least guarantee the data is there, and if it is there, then the problem is in the rules / form ...

Sorry, I don't understand.
Let's say the form's data connections point to http://oldserver/sites/oldsitecollection and that's also the location where the form is published. In the publishing wizard, one is asked for the new publish URL, and let's say we enter http://newserver/sites/newsitecollection. The publishing wizard ...

This is tricky. Microsoft changes things between versions and we're not always informed of what exactly changed. So in the case of server upgrades (SharePoint 2007 to 2010) and client upgrades (InfoPath 2010 to 2013) the form designer will most likely need to go thru a brief test phase to ensure the forms still work after upgrade.
There ...

This is not easy! Let's just make sure that's understood up front. :)
A SharePoint form library doesn't store flat data (e.g. a row in a repeating table). The form library stores XML forms, so what you're trying to achieve is submit an individual XML form per row, and do this iteratively for however many rows have been ...

I'm not sure I understand...
If you understand and have set up cascading dropdowns, then the simpler scenario is a single dropdown setting the value of a text box, for example. So instead of
Dropdown > Dropdown
You have:
Dropdown >Text box
In both cases the first dropdown contains rules that trigger the next step.
Maybe ...
