Well - the heart of the question seems to be:
Why is this form executing a qRules command that has been removed?
And that's why I want to take a look at the form - see if there is some logic hanging out somewhere making trouble. :-)

Under the Developer tab in the ribbon, if you click the Language button, it will open up the form options with the programming category selected. I'd probably start there to track this down - is the location someplace you can access? If you create a new form, what's the default location for code files?

Is this in the browser or in filler? In filler, in the control properties, you can create a restriction. In the browser, you'd need to use code or qRules to get the file extension of the attachment and then you could remove the file if it is in the wrong format, or display an error, or whatever you'd like for your UI.

Hilary that will not be a problem, soon as the server is back up and i can rdc in, i will email it over with this thread and tags. Please keep in mind this is the same form that Joann is working with Charlie(CCBS). You too i believe have hand in it as well. Does this help?

Can I take a look at your form? If you aren't comfortable attaching it under the Options tab, email to Support AT Qdabra DOT com and mention this thread in the email.

Is the data connection still in the form? Is it set to execute on load?

Jimmy sorry for not answering back, you were correct sir. Thank you for your expedience and your knowledge. I have since advanced fairly well in my expressions and comprehension. I have some more complex issues at this present time and i'll make a post in the appropiate forum, I hope.

For now I'm just going to tacle the time issue. I can't seem to get the format _:_ to work. After fooling around with the concat and substring functions I'm still at a loss.
