Hi and welcome to the InfoPath Dev forums.
You should take a look at our Web Services Solution Pack (qWSSP), it makes connecting to SQL or SharePoint sources for querying data in InfoPath WAY easier than the built in connections in InfoPath. It works fine with IPFS too. authenication is managed via the webservice.

Hi,
Have you looked at using SharePoint workflow and SharePoint Designer to create a wofklow to do this? You should be able to kick off a workflow to copy the row to the other child list everytime a new record is added to the parent.

I am able to either hide the control or disable the control, it's not greyed out for me.
Why don't you attach your template so I can take a look?

Hi Mike,
The problem is that InfoPath does not promote the contact selector field to SharePoint as a "Person/Group" field which is what it needs to be for the [ME] filter to work.

If you purchase qRules we could offer you some additional support time to come up with a way to show you how to do this.
You can ...

Hi Peter,
I am not very familiar with Grove/InfoPath integration - frankly I don't hear a lot about that in my consulting projects with InfoPath.
If you re-read Matt Faus's blog post here: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/matt/archive/2006/04/10/Allow-Offline-Use-of-a-SharePoint-List-by-Caching-Locally.aspx
The very last ...

Sorry, but I still don't think I understand your scenario enough. Can you outline it in more detail? We may have a product that can handle this easily, I just to understand the scenario in more detail. Thanks
