Hi Michael,
That message suggests that the form needs to be installed. The mapping tool must be installed per the instructions in the installation guide. Let me know if you have any trouble with the steps.
Since you're on v4.0, it might be worth upgrading to v4.3, since mapping to a list became easier in these recent versions.

The field in the Repeating Table (OutlayCost) is set to a decimal data type but the field (OUTLAY_COMP) that is set to Concat the OutlayDescription, Currency and OutlayCost is a text field. This is because the OutlayDescription and Currency are text so a deciaml data type wouldn't accept it.

Fixed: Turns out that the textbox held on to the original datatype of the field. Yes, I forgot to mention that the fields were originally Date fields, but were changed to text.
All I had to do was remove offending controls off the canvas and replace them.

Hi, I have a textbox (text/string type) that aloows users to type in variations of dates (e.g. May 2012, 05/2012, 03/05/2012 etc.)
We just want to store the value typed in, since nothing will be done with the date at the end of the day.

We have an infopath form with code, the new form is loading quickly.
But when the form is opened in edit mode , this is taking a lot of time.
It is taking a lot of time even before it hits the first line of code in FormEvents_Loading method.
Would like to now what is happening before the FormEvents_Loading is called.

I did use the form load rules for other users. For the supervisor issue, I ended up hiding confidential sections in the form if username did not equal the name in supervisor or approver fields. Thank you so much for your form load suggestion!

This form is perfect for what I am looking to do. The only twist is my repeating tables are in repeating sections. It works until I add a section, and then it starts to duplicate fields below. So repeating table group1/group2 is in a repeating section called group3/group4. ...
