Hi Wil and welcome to InfoPathDev forums,
Vexing! My guess is that the Web Service takes a parameter and in the data connection you haven't specified what to map BusinessEntityID to and therefore it's nil and fails. Just a guess though, but take a look at the data connection config window and verify that you set up the parameters to map ...

You'll have to redo your main data source for your form. You'll want to start from an XML schema to allow future schema changes and not be bound to the receive schema from the Web Service (that's what limited the insertion for your current forum since InfoPath derives a read-only schema when you create from a DB - to preserve the ...

Hi AmitShirvastava and welcom to the forum,
This is most likely caused by a change in your database schema. Did you change your database columns recently? Open your XSN in Desgner mode. Go to Tools->Convert Main Data source and then republish the form. See if that solves the problem. If not, you've run into InfoPath's big limitation ...

If you have Internet Explorer and you are not enabling digisig for the entire form, you can use it for browser based forms. If the form has been signed, you will see a dialog popup saying to click Digital Signatures on the Tools menu to view existing digisigs. If the form is not yet signed (i.e. you are filling it out), the title of the form in ...

You don't have to do SharePoint workflow for this. You can use Forms Base workflow too. Just add user roles for the Everyone (default), Employee (initiator), Supervisor and Owner (in InfoPath Designer, go to Tools->Roles). Make Employee initiator and use a field in the form to determine Supervisor. Default role is Everyone. Add open rules ...

Thanks Skarn for the trick. I like this because it means you just republish and don't have to worry about removing the cache on multiple client computers. Of course, in reality, this usually only happens on 1 or 2 clients out of 1000 or so... so might be more work to publish than just remove the cache on those computers ...

We have automation that publishes to Web Servers as well as SharePoint sites. We'd need to spend a couple hours to package it up into a service to automate publishing. If you guys are interested send me a private e-mail with detailed scenarios.
