IS it possible to digitally sign a form in a web browser?

I'm trying to sign a form in a web brower, but I keep getting a error. I can sign it on the client form. I check the certificate and it said it was valid.

If you have Internet Explorer and you are not enabling digisig for the entire form, you can use it for browser based forms. If the form has been signed, you will see a dialog popup saying to click Digital Signatures on the Tools menu to view existing digisigs. If the form is not yet signed (i.e. you are filling it out), the title of the form in the browser will have [Signed] in front of it. To sign a section, you have to click the "Click here to sign this section link" below the Section itself. Browser forms don'y ask you for a signature in the Sign dialog. They only request a purpose of signing.

    Patrick,

I keep getting a error when I click the link that says Click here to sign this section link. It just says an error has occured. Please try again.  I'm trying to sign a section on a form.

Have you looked at your SharePoint log files? You can search this site for threads by DavidAir or Tom Lawrence on where the log file lives. I forget, but there have been posts on it. My hunch is that the error is logged with more information in the log file and that's the clue we need.
