Your formula contains no errors, but when I change Payment_Terms to Edoc-Delivery_Notes as below, I get the following error:
"xdXDocument:GetDOM("Default-Values")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW/d:Edoc-Delivery_Notes" does not point to a valid location path of a field or group. ...

So, given your earlier post where you have an XPath for getting the sales org based on the country, would this work for the Payment_Terms (for example): xdXDocument:GetDOM("Default-Values")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW/d:Payment_Terms[../d:Sales_Org = ...

So...thanks again! I have been able to successfully auto-populate 4 fields from Sales Org. Here is the XPath for one of them (Payment Terms):
xdXDocument:GetDOM("Default-Values")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW/d:Payment_Terms[../d:Sales_Org = ...

Well - there isn't any restriction on the number of cascading dropdowns, so I'd suspect the issue is with the filter you have on your third dropdown. Can you attach a copy of your form under the Options tab in a reply so I can see what you've got for a filter?

I think you maybe are trying to open the file instead of downloading, right clicking and opening in design mode? https://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/28565/98301.aspx has a discussion on this. https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create-a-cascading-list-box-1702993d-d670-4d9b-8063-acabacb76605#bm3_2 has info on how to create an XML file - ...

Your Default Values list doesn't have a field with the XPath you are using. I think /dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW/d:Edoc_x002d_Delivery_Notes_x002d_ is the field you want.... copy just the filter (the part with the square braces), use the field selector to pick your field from default values, then just paste the filter ...

Does the data source for A contain the abbreviation? If so, this can be done, but the filter is a little more complex. When you add the filter to drop down B, you'll add a filter where the region abbreviation is equal to the region abbreviation in the data source for A where the full region name is equal to the region selected in the form. It ...

Hey Hillary! :)
I have attached my latest XSN...the control where I am looking to trigger the auto-populating Edoc values is called "Use_Default Edoc_Values". The first field of 18 that I want to auto-populate is called "Edoc_Delivery_Notes".
Thank you SO MUCH for taking a look! ...

I have a form with cascading drop downs. I have one field to choose location type, then a drop down is supposed to appear to select from a list of locations. The form in design view shows the drop down on the form, however, when I preview or try and submit a new form, the field shows as a text field. How can I fix this? I've tried ...

Looks like you may also need to match on country, right? Because the payment terms seem to differ according to country and sales org. However, for matching on just sales org, your XPath looks right.... Are you always getting Net 30? Or whatever the first item in the list is?
