• Re: three different repeating tables for the same datasource table?

Thanks for the reply Jimmy Unfortunately it would have to be for entering information. Each repeating table would have 6 rows each. These would represent 6 stages of a project and each column would give the costs. As there are three parts to the project (Budgets, Projected and Day to Day costs) there would have to be three ...

  • three different repeating tables for the same datasource table?

Hi Folks, I'd like to ask for some help on what the heading implies. In my database I have three tables, all to do with costs for a given project (Budget costs table, Projected costs table and Day to Day costs table). The tables have the same columns in each so I've decided to bring together to make one table and use an ...

  • Re: Infopath form with auto filled rows?

Hi Again, I worked out how to do this, at least one way of doing it. I used Default Values from the Tools menu and added the amount of nodes I needed and then set their default value to the name I wanted. Thanks to all who looked at this thread.

  • Infopath form with auto filled rows?

Hi there, Admittedly I've asked similar question before, however, I would like to ask for some help with this as I'm still fairly inexperienced with Infopath forms, especially with code. Just to note, the Information in the Infopath forms is being submitted to a SQL Server db. I have a table called ProjectedCosts which I need to display ...

  • Re: Removing properties drop down list from from library

Thanks Anuma for getting back to me. Would that be the case for Sharepoint 2003? I can't find People and Group option. Thanks

  • Removing properties drop down list from from library

Hi there, When creating a form library using sharepoint 2003 and infopath 2003 I've noticed that when a form is saved to the library and I hover the mouse over the form I get the Arrow at the end that, when clicked, opens a menu that has options like 'Delete', View Properties' etc. I know there's a way to remove this so ...

  • Re: Read Only infopath form?

I think the forms are already added to trusted sites from the previous developer. Also, it's only one person that's having the problem and it's group policy so I'd imagine there would be no difference to his settings than anyone elses. Maybe files on his computer are corrupt? Thanks

  • Re: Read Only infopath form?

Hi Shiva, thanks for replying. The exact message is The form cannot be filled out, either because you do not have adequate permissions, another user has the form open, or the form is open in another program. I take it your options still apply to this? I can rule out the first. I don't think the fourth applies. Number 2, ...

  • Read Only infopath form?

Hi there, I wonder if anyone has came accross this problem before. There's a user in my dept who is complaining that an infopath form that he has opened from a sharepoint library is read only. No one else has had this problem. Does anyone know what some of the reasons could be for this happening? Thanks

  • Re: Any function to remove characters from fields?

Further to my last post, the Translate function does work, it's just my limited knowledge of Xpath Syntax. Anyway, for those of you who do want to know: translate(@Name[@JobCodeID = @JobCode], "&/\*?<>:", "") That's all my illegal characters at the end. translate(Field, "Characters", ...
