• Re: Controlling access to form-annual review process security

I dont know if this is the best way to do it, but what you can do is go into the library where the form will be saved and make "My Documents" as the default value, and then delete all the other views that are in the library, ie delete "All Documents" and "Explorer View". Then create a view for the managers to use ...

  • Re: How to increase the number of entries shown in a drop-down control field.

Try this: Open the library, click on your view drop down option and click on "modify this view" You should now be to a "Edit View: library name" screen. Scroll down to the "Item Limit" option and expand it. You should see: Number of items to display: ...

  • Re: Retrieve current user name through webservice

Based on what you have said I would assume that if User 1 fills out the form and submits/saves it, if User 2 opens User 1's form it will trigger your rule again, because unless you have code in the form or a control that you are using to indicate that the form was already created it will be triggered again. Becasue of this User 2's ...

  • Re: Control Postback Issues

I dont know that I can be of any further help without seeing the form. It almost sounds like you may have a server side issue more so than within the form template. You may want to try checking all of your library's settings and then also make sure that all of your form setting are correct, ie the security settings. Also you may want to ...

  • Re: Control Postback Issues

How is your submit option set? Are you submitting to a SharePoint library? You should probably keep all of your controls set to post back "only when neccessary" including your Submit button. I had this same problem when I first started working with web enabled forms, and I am trying to remember what I had to do to fix it. If you ...

  • Re: Retrieve current user name through webservice

Just a quick comment. If the form is meant to be submitted you will probably want to use a different method, otherwise the submitted form will replace the submitters name with the reviewers name when the form is being reviewed. This is an easy fix depening on what your needs are.

  • Re: Secured Form Library

Set the default view in the library to "My Documents" and that should only allow the users to see their submitted documents. Generaly the default view is "All Documents". Using SP designer functions you should be able to make it so that the only view available to the public is "My Documents"
