I have a field call Office and I am trying to fill that field from the field in Active Directory,  I used the physicalDeliveryOfficeName and it returns nothing.  Is the name different in the Web service GetUserProfileByName?   Mike V

Make sure that everthing is a string.  For some reason when I changed the data type from date to string, my Web form worked.  It still have a problem with parsing the date string to date.  Before publishing you might want to click on the "Design checker to see if you have any errors.  I have had to take a function ...

Bad things about the rules above is that when you change the date for the first time it works but if you change again, lets say you first pick a Friday and then you want to pick a Thursday, nothing happens.  If you pick a date for the next month, it works.

substitute the quotes and minus sign with the one on your keyboard.  Infopath does not like the way it is formated when you copy and paste from the Web page.  You have to delete the quotes and minus sign and re-type them.   Mike
