I'm cool with doing it with code. Just not sure what control to translate the attachment to. Richtext box? Picture control?

The Active-X Adobe PDF Reader control. It's part of infopath path OOB.

How would you go about displaying the contents of an attachment in another field? I tried using a Rich Text Box but returned value was a bunch of coded text.

i have two small issues with the File Attachment control. 1. can't change the text in the control once a file is loaded. 2. can't "hide" the control.  I'm trying to upload a doc, use code to move the file to a sharepoint lib., then change the text that appears in the Control.   What other options do i have? ...

 figured it out. just needed to drop a text box in the child table and set the default value equal to the field in the parent table. i was stuck in a coding groove!  

sorta stuck on this one. i have repeating table with two columns. column1 has a text box called r1_txt1 column2 has another repeating table in it. the second repeating table has button and a single text box called r2_txt2 how would i reference the text box in the in the first repeating table from within the second repeating ...
