Posted to General (Forum) by barmatt80 on 01-12-2009 Infopath forms to folders I have about 75 infopath forms that were submitted to sharepoint for the month of december 2008. Workflow is complete, however a case might come up that they need to edit them. These forms are requests for leave. I would like to take those documents and move them to a folder named December 2008 within the same list. So as ... Posted to General (Forum) by barmatt80 on 01-07-2009 html email with sharepoint designer workflow I am back to my sharepoint work after been working on other items. My question is that when users submits the form, i just need a simple html email sent to their manager, etc. I have the form and the workflow setup, but however sometimes the workflow does not pick the values up correctly in the emails. Posted to Workflow (Forum) by barmatt80 on 11-30-2008 Filter to show Direct Reports I have an infopath form that uses a webservice to get the employee's manager's account name. This returns: domain\name. Is there a way to create a sharepoint list view to show only the employees that report to me and other managers theirs? I have tried the [Me] but that does not work. Sharepoint 2003/Infopath 2003 sp1 The error your getting when trying to submit data can be a couple items. If you are updating a form, opening and editing information, you want to be able to resubmit thus overwriting the original form. In your data connection, the last screen where you would click finish, there is a check box asking you if you want to overwrite if that file ... Posted to SharePoint Integration (Forum) by barmatt80 on 09-11-2008 Mainframe DB2 stored proc Is it possible for infopath to pass a variable(employeeID in this case) and call a stored procedure to a db2 mainframe database to return 4 other variables (forwardleave, sickleave, familyleave, otherleave)? Can I do this directly or do i need to call the mainframe stored procedure from my sql database? Which would be the best ... Posted to SQL Database Integration (Forum) by barmatt80 on 09-03-2008 Re: User Roles - How exactly do they work? i could be a factor of things. If you are typing into field1 then you will have to click off or lose focus on that field for the control to work. If you are doing that, I would put a rule that says if Field1 is blank...disable drop down. also try adding another rule that says user role is not equal to production....disable ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by barmatt80 on 08-21-2008 Re: Assigning Sequential Form Number The database that i mentioned is the best practice of infopath. The best practice is to have infopath form save all values into a database backend, like SQl server. This would help ensure no data is lost. By allowing the database to handle the incrementing of the form or the sequential number is the best way to do it. That ...
