When I open a form in InfoPath by clicking on it from the form library, all the groups revert to being collapsed. Is there any way to prevent SharePoint from doing this? I still want the groupings collapsed by default, just not have ... Then, when the user prints the view, it prompts them to save it as a PDF. That's what we're doing, at least... If it's always two or three characters, you could use something like this: substring-after(substring(ID, (string-length(ID)-3)), "-") Posted to General (Forum) by anotherchrisberry on 05-25-2007 Re: Printing a view via code Brilliant! Thanks for sharing this, Shiraz. It works like a champ. In the end, I think it's because Infopath itself needs to send the email through an email application, so it uses whatever your default email app is. But it can't just send a message. It always requires a confirmation - which makes sense. Imagine emails being sent from an end ... For some reason, I never got an error message - it just failed to delete the file. Thanks to Matt Everhart for figuring this out. It's so weird I have to attribute it to some bizarre flaw, and not worry about it. If I ever get to the root of the problem I'll re-post. Thanks!
