I did figure it out by creating a loop thanks so much for your help!

I had it set to new but, I than created a seperate workflow for just the attachment field and it is still not working correctly

Sorry I was offline.  I can add the log steps now.  should I change the default status?  if you look at the fields when I change the field it is chaging the status to no so I think that is working properly.  the default for the status field is what is selected in the supervisorApprove field.  I just added that field to see ...

Sorry here is the updated code When it gets to supervisor approval it just stops. The supCalc field does change to know but the workflow goes no further.  I am assuming it is cause the supcalc fileld but I am unsure how else to tell if the firld has changed to Reject.  I have tried everything...
