I have a form that has an Approve/Reject dropdown.  I am creating a workflow in SharePoint designer 2013, and for some reason it will not see when reject is selected.  Here is the code.  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Stage:Supervisor Approval

               If Current Item:SupervisorApprove equals Reject

                              Email Current Item:Main Authors

               Wait for SupervisorApprove to equal Approve

               Email Current Item:SubjectAreaExpert

Transition to stage

               Go to SubjectAreaE

Stage:SubjectAreaExpert Approval

               If Current Item:SubectAreaExpertApprove equals Reject

                              Email Current Item:Main Authors

When it gets to supervisor approval it just stops. The supCalc field does change to know but the workflow goes no further.  I am assuming it is cause the supcalc fileld but I am unsure how else to tell if the firld has changed to Reject.  I have tried everything...

 Have you tried adding a log step for each workflow step to see what is or is not running? I'm confused by one field being used to check for Approve and another for Reject. I do see in the form's design that the default for the status field is the approve field.

Sorry I was offline.  I can add the log steps now.  should I change the default status?  if you look at the fields when I change the field it is chaging the status to no so I think that is working properly.  the default for the status field is what is selected in the supervisorApprove field.  I just added that field to see if if would see the changed value in a text field rather than drop down.

Okay question for you.  I have recreted the code below.  The workflow works this way however, If the status is approved I need it to move to the next stage.  Of course the way I have it set it will not.  Do you have any sugestions on what to change.  I am supposed to have this complete today!
