Last » Side by side versioning and promoted columns Hi, I have a content type form that runs in a series of libraries. In the latest iteration, I've promoted a couple of columns on the latest version that wasn't promoted for the previous version. Consequently, if I change the view in the SharePoint library to display the new column nothing shows up even if data appears in ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by TomRenfro on 01-22-2014 Re: Browser forms and managed code I also played with directly creating a calendar item using the Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook .NET reference, and it works in Preview mode. I'm not sure it would work for a browser form though. Can I get a verification on that, and alternatives if this approach won't work for the browser? Do you need the code? Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by TomRenfro on 01-16-2014 Browser forms and managed code I'm developing a form that gathers date sensitive data from the user, runs a set of rules for calculating hours, days between, etc. using qRules, then if a button is clicked, the form creates a vCalendar file using existing form data. This allows the user to save to their Outlook calendar. This all works well in Preview mode, ... I'm just getting my command down cold for using a base of 8 hours to represent a work day. I'll get it figured out from the doc. Thanks again. Posted to Qdabra qRules (Forum) by TomRenfro on 01-13-2014 qRules command not firing for calendar control Hi, I'm developing a form that should do a calculation using DateDiff. Some preliminary information: the form is injected with qRules, but is also Full Trust and using code, specifically C# code on a button click event. Here is how my rule is defined: it's on the calendar control, based on a field with a Date ... Repeating tables seem to respond differently to rules than I expected. It's kind of against what one would think happens, but if it works, I'm good with it. Thanks so much for the tip. We use an exclusive browser environment, primarily because not all users have Office 2010, and some of those customers don't have InfoPath Filler installed. Also, there's a great number of Office 2007 installs in our organization, and my ...
