 Hi, I have a content type form that runs in a series of libraries.  In the latest iteration, I've promoted a couple of columns on the latest version that wasn't promoted for the previous version.  Consequently, if I change the view in the SharePoint library to display the new column nothing shows up even if data appears in the form.

I checked the library settings and found that all columns previously published had under "Used in" FormVersion2, FormVersion1.  However, for the newly promoted columns only FormVersion2 appears.

 How can I add that content type FormVersion1 to the Used in column so the existing data appears?  Thanks in advance.

 Can anybody point me in the right direction on this?

Have you tried re-opening FormVersion1 and promoting those columns, then republishing?

 Yes, this was the first thing I tried.  I now have two columns of the same name, each pointing to a different content type.

 Ah I see, yes this is a common problem with site content types.  You should be able to get around this by undoing the promoted properties and instead creating site columns for the particular fields you want to see listed in your library.  Take a look at the steps posted at the bottom of this thread and let me know if that solution works for you.
