Hi Everyone,
I have recently taken up a time critical project that requires me to use Infopath and MS Access. I have a few queries which I will post over the next coupe of days.
For the first query, I have already spent some time looking up the existing treads but could not find a relevant solution. Following are the details for my first ...

I am able to display with the calculated value field but I need the field to be promoted to the sharepoint list, in which case a calculated value field isn't bound to any field in the data connection.
Is there a formula to store the selections from the list box in a comma delimited format? I've tried the double eval formula with ...

Hi All,
I am using Infopath 2010's SharePoint Form Library template with a couple of repeating tables that are required by business process.
I have created 2 drop down lists namely,
1) Drop down list State (WatingTeamLeader, WaitingManager, WaitingHumanResource)

Oh, I shake my fist at these little bugs sometimes (but mostly I'm just super happy I can copy & paste rules, even if I have to fix them up sometimes). Euw. This is sticky, isn't it! I've read it a few times and don't have any good ideas for doing this with workflow - is using the built in InfoPath email submit out of the question?

Hi - I'm super sorry - but pretty much everyone hanging out here works with InfoPath forms. I don't really know how you'd do this in a Word form. If you have InfoPath installed, I can help you do it there! :)

Well, I think you could do this if you used expression boxes (calculated values) to display the "text" from the secondary data source you use to provide values to your list box. I'm attaching a simple sample. Save it locally, right click and select design so you can preview and see how it is set up.

Not knowing what "node" is in your code makes it hard to help. :-)
Is it the secondary data source that provides the values to your dropdown? If you run the code in debut, how many items are in "child"?

I'm awful at double eval myself. I'd start simply and make sure just the double eval part is right instead of having all this crazy conditional stuff in there - did you verify that piece first?
