You would need to submit both to DBXL and to SharePoint.
In a future version, DBXL should have the ability to shred to a SP list as well as a table which could be used to trigger workflow.
In my experience, I prefer to do workflow in the form or DBXL's worflow, rather than encounter the complexity of SPD. Especially if it is not needed.

You can turn on Document History with the check box on the general tab in DAT.
This will preserve each version not just the latest.

The field xpath in the form is to be dynamic.
If you have permissions by group or individuals than just set these in the permissions tab in the DAT configuration.
The document level permisions would be this scenario.

DocId is a sequential, unique ID which is global, essentiall the PK for the document table.
RefID is a sequential and unique ID for each document type or template.

Hi Catherine.
The promoted proerties can be used in the catalog or "Qform" templates.
Not sure if you have seen this but you have some sample forms. One form can view all of the assigned forms in the database, often as an alternative to the web part.

Go to Sharepoint in IE.
Browse to the libray or ...

So use the list as a template but build your own data with both question ...

Hey Mike.
You can create multiple submit data connections, one for each lib.
Or specify the lib to always use no matter where it was opened from.
Best practice is to control this library for the submit and also set the default file name.

I see people who want to have subfolders, similar to a file share, for organizing content but it does not work well in SharePoint, as you have seen. It is not completely supported for all of the functionality.
I would recommend a seperate document library for each sub category and then make a master page which has the links to each one and allows ...

Typically I would just replicate the print view twice.
One in landscape config and the other in portrait.
In the view properties you can setup the print properties.

Sure.
In some cases I have added a field in the data source to flag a particular record, or you could modify a field that maybe does not matter.
Another way is to have a field in your form to store the current record ID or unique record data that can be used for the conditional formatting. Then when they return you reset the field.
