Hi Jacob,
You're welcome! Hope it does work for you.

Hi Jakester,
Since it's still checked, the field corresponding to that check box is going to populate. You'd need to find a way to "clear" the sub check boxes once the main is unchecked. For example, you can add a rule in check box A to set 1 = "" (that is two double quotes, to clear it) and put a condition where A = ...

Hello again,
How did you publish the form? You're using code so you need to admin-approve the form.

Hi and welcome to IPDev forums,
This blog from Matt Faus explains exactly how to do it, without code. =)
Can you try that and let us know how it goes?
Thanks,

Hi:
You can add a receive data connection to your SharePoint library and configure your form to use that secondary data connection (e.g. add rules to return description to a field in your form).
-
Try this: translate(concat(substring(FirstName, 1, 1), LastName), "ABCDEFGHIJKLMONPQRSTUVWXYZ", "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz").
Hope that works! =)

Hi and welcome to InfoPathDev forums!
You'll need to use substring to get the first letter in the FirstName and then combine the result to the value of your LastName using concat, something like: concat(substring(FirstName, 1, 1), LastName)

Hi Jacob,
I'm afraid you might have to do a search on that. Lots of stuff exists in this forum which can be similar to what you're doing, such as: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/18162/63382.aspx#63382.

InfoPath 2010 allows you to save the form template as InfoPath 2007 Web Browser Form Template or InfoPath 2007 Filler Form Template. Have you tried that yet?

You're welcome Wayne, I'm glad it worked!
