Hilary ,
Thank you very much for your step-by-step assistance, it is very much appreciated. - Chad

Thanks, i was referring to the view on the left hand side where the rules appear to be repeated.
Unless I'm missing something, the drop down is changing the value/formula for 3 text boxes.
One of the rule names is the same name as one of the controls which may be misleading.
But it's if dropdown box = valueA then change 3 text box ...

You were right, once again. New error: Object reference not set to the instance of an object. - Debug does not show the error.
-
Okay - so for whatever reason, this:
rows.Current.SelectSingleNode("PartNumb", NamespaceManager)
Is not returning a node.
My guess would be that you actually want my:PartNumb. If you copy the XPath to the field PartNumb, what is the XPath?

Sorry, I am running debug now, just getting a little excited to see this get closer to the end.. This is the new error:
Dim PartNumb As String = rows.Current.SelectSingleNode("PartNumb", NamespaceManager).Value

Can you run your code in debug to see where the null ref is occurring? Sorry - I know I've asked repeatedly in this thread if you know how to run in debug, but I don't recall seeing an answer yet.

Thanks for your help. I have it working now.

Much closer now:
System.NullReferenceException
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Okay - so you need to change your code so you aren't trying to get something not in the main data source. Try my suggestion above.

Hilary, you are right with the last response. The repeating table is in located in the Main Fields.
