Hi VivaSuzi,
We'd have to look at your forms. I recommend our InfoPath Detailing service - costs $50 and you'll find other stuff out plus we can fix your issue. Otherwise, just send the forms and we'll take a quick look, but can't promise we'll solve it in 5 minutes.

Hi Test User,
Have you read Mel's recent blog: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/mel_balsamo/archive/2009/05/18/using-e-mail-forms-to-communicate-with-external-users.aspx
Check out the section called "MANIPULATING FORM VERSIONS"

Why not use a repeating link section and have the user paste the links to the documents in?

hi Gagan,
You could encode the link. .NET has a method to do that. For the <space> character, for example, try %20.
We convert images and attachments into SharePoint links for free - check out qRules if you don't want to write code. http://www.infopathdev.com/files/folders/qrules/category2705.aspx

Hi MSanders79 and welcome!
We have at least 3 blogs on this and there are probably 10 threads. Have you tried searching? If you don't find something, send me e-mail. There's tons of stuff here and on the http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath site. Search is your friend.

Hey PulSazz,
Are you using the latest version of SharePoint? We've seen problems with people who were not on the latest Service Pack. Check your SharePoint logs. Check your versions. And then, call Microsoft. We can't debug Microsoft bugs in this forum. We can tell you they exist - they do! But, we can't do much more. Your Microsoft ...

Thanks for explaining.
Don't use rich text for this. Use structured XML. XHTML (aka rich text) is not structured and it will be very difficult for you to consistently parse it.
If you are trying to generate an agenda (vs. parse it), same applies. It's much easier to generate structured XML.
Define your agenda schema and use that. ...

Hi Moose,
You are dreaming. That is a ridiculous design. Sorry!
Seriously, what is your user scenario here? Why are you trying to use InfoPath to control how people save spreadsheets to SharePoint, and then capture the links? This scenario doesn't make any sense to me. We've certainly never done this kind of a solution and we build ...

Hi Gerry,
My hunch is that you have some reentrancy in your event handler which is causing problems. Another idea is that you are trying to edit a value (myElapsedTime) in a Before event handler or perhaps there is some restriction on myElapsedTime... but, these are just guesses... I need more info. Can you please attach your XSN and your ...
