No, unfortunately it does not. Since the formatting is only at face value it still throws a validation error. This is a sql integration data form. The budget changes occur in the form and are then put back into the server.

I'd leave the value alone and just change the format on the control that displays the data to only show two decimal points. Does that work for you?

With SharePoint 2010 and InfoPath 2010, you have query fields in the List data connection. You can just set the query field as equal to whatever form field your drop down is connected to and execute the query to get back associated items. No code needed.

K, I still haven't found a fix.
Would a rule be preferable over the default value for these functions? If so could you tell me why and to what would cause the calc value to behave in such a manner?

Hi all,
I have a browser IP form that submits data to a sharepoint library (Admin approved). Everything works fine when a user adds a new form but when the user wants to make a change, they have to click the submit button twice in order to work.
Can you guys please shine some light on me?
Thanks in advance,
Gus

Usually, this would be because the filter you are using on the list doesn't contain current() - what is the filter you are using?

Perhaps you could use the following within the button code?
