Repeating Table - Can't add a 2nd row based on filtered data.

I've a repeating table which connects to an external data source.

It consists of 2 drop down control columns

The first column (JobTypeGroup) is to show only entries with unique display names from an external list (SQL view)

The second column (JobType) is filtered to only show results by JobTypeGroup i.e. 1st column.

For my 1st rom in the table this works as expected.

Yet when I add a 2nd row to the repeating table. My column (JobTypeGroup) only shows the 1st entry in the JobTypeGroup external list. I'm not presented with a list as on the 1st row.

How do I get the JobTypeGroup list to repeat itself?

In addition if I delete an entry in the table, i.e.  back to zero rows, the JobTypeGroup list doesn't 'refresh' itself either.

    Thanks

    W

Usually, this would be because the filter you are using on the list doesn't contain current() - what is the filter you are using?

The filter is on my 2nd column field (JobType).

It is JobTypeGroup (2nd data source is equal) to Job Group List (Main Source Field)

     Well all seems fixed now.

I removed my InfoPath rule on my 2nd column.

I think it is because of the way my external list (SQL view) is structured, as long as I only show unique values in my first column. The 2nd column knows what to show.
