Again, I think I'd need to check the actual form. But if you suspect that this is the issue, save a copy of the form and remove your rules and see if your form works (i.e. no correlation ID). That will at least help you determine if the issue is with your rules.

If you are going to use string(true) you don't want a zero in there. Happy to look at your form if you want to attach it to a reply under the Options tab.

Hi - when you post new threads, do you mind posting to this forum: https://www.infopathdev.com/forums/41.aspx - I keep having to move your posts out of the feedback forum :) As to your question - are you using on-prem or online SharePoint? Okay, I confirmed that if I have no appropriate certs in my Current User cert store, the same thing happens for me - clicking select does nothing. The cert needs to be imported for the Current User for InfoPath to use it - or at least that was the outcome for me, on my machine.

I'm not sure why clicking on Select isn't doing anything. I am also using InfoPath 2013. Later today or tomorrow, I'll export my certs then remove them and see if I can repro this behavior. If you run MMC > add snap in > Certificates, and select "my user account" you see the cert in your Personal > Certificates?

I think it needs to be in the current user's cert store and not the local computer cert store on the machine where you are designing the form. At least - that's what I found on my machine. Only certs in the current user's cert store could be selected.
-
When you installed the cert on your machine - did you install to the local machine cert store or the personal (user) cert store? I ask because checking my machine, the certs available to me in InfoPath are in CurrentUser / Personal / Certificates. They either have an intended purpose of Code Signing or All.... and just to clarify, when you say you ...

If you wish to disable the submit button unless one is selected, yes.

There are formatting rules on the button and the calculated values? Just click on those and then open the rules pane from the ribbon. I think it is on the home tab and says "manage rules".
