All,
I have a repeating table which imports data from an external data source SQL based on a search criteria.
I have a control (check box) to select a particular row of data. This yes/no is then used by a button to set fields on the next view of a form.
I can have many results returned by the original search criteria.
How can I filter my ...

I meant to say "copying repeating values" not just copying values.
I asked about filler vs. browser because if you are using filler you could try the OpenForm command.
I'm assuming when you save your form, you know the name of it? That is what I am suggesting you pass to your new form, so you know what current form the new ...

Not that I can think of out of the box. So - you get an access denied error from IP but not from the browser? You may have already done this - but have you tried (just for the sake of experimentation) creating a new form w/ a REST connection to see if it reproduces? Maybe help narrow the issue down....

So - the difference (of course) between != 'true' and = 'false' is != 'true' also handles for the field being blank - I tend to prefer whatever ...

InfoPath's use of Xpath expressions as default values in the data source (I.E. the context node) tends to baffle users on StackOverflow. I am often told, "XPath doesn't actually change anything"; this true as XSLT is used for XML transformations. When I state that the XPath expression is housed *inside* of a particular ...

Hi Hilary, Thank you for your response.
I have some further questions. You say "I can't really think of a way to use it [GetInputParameter] for copying values into a new form" but isn't that what it is used for? The example instructions provided on your site use it to copy the person's name and their travel ...

Thanks for the information Hilary. I think we will give this idea a try. Great idea!
