Try opening the form in the rich client and see if you get the same error.

Hi Iri,
Please stop posting same thread in multiple areas.
To get this working, you'll want to add a rule to the field and then actions to the rule that set the value. When you choose the value you'll have an option to filter. Good luck!

Hi Iri,
This is supported in InfoPath. Just set up a data connection (Tools->Data Connections) to query from a SharePoint list and then add a rule to the SharePoint list dropdown that sets values based on filtering the data per the dropdown selection. You'll need one set-value action per field that auto-populates. Easy to do!

Sure, we've done these. Probably between 4-20 hours per page. Depends on how complex the schema is. Of course, you won't get all fo the InfoPath goodies (conditional formatting, validation, rules, etc.), but you can submit an XML form.

Hi InfoP,
We release 2-3 new versions of ADWS per year. New versions of DBXL (which includes ADWS) are released twice a year. Currently, DBXL 2.4 is scheduled for October.
Thank you for the feature request. We have added it to our database and will triage it along with the other requests.
We are happy to do consulting work for you. ...

While it's possible to pass data to InfoPath XML Web Part in SharePoint as well as the browser form (hosted in Form Services), it's not something that is needed for 99% of ...
