I think several views (Shiva's first suggestion) is the way to go. Try these steps:
In InfoPath design mode click "Views" in the design tasks task pane
Click "Add a New View" at the bottom of the taskpane and name the view Page2. The new view is now displayed in InfoPath. Drag a control onto it just to ...

Cool trick Hilary!
I wanted to take my own stab at this problem, and I think there is a sneaky way to do just what you(BuildPro Guru) describe without using triggers, though it involves cracking open the .XSN. Please see another post of mine:

For the main data source, xdXDocument:get-DOM() should do the trick:
xdXDocument:GetDOM("connection 1")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/dfs:myRecord[@ID = xdXDocument:get-DOM()/my:myFields/my:mainID]/@Title

These are the steps I used:
Drag a repeating section from the taskpane into the form
Drag a checkbox into the ...

To re-create the .xsn file, right click the manifest.xsf file in Windows Explorer, and choose Design. This will open the template in InfoPath and you can then re-save it as an .xsn.
But before that, I would suggest opening the manifest in a text editor, looking for any references to the problem data connection, and removing them.

By default, Qdabra's AD WebService is installed at http://<servername>/QdabraAD/AdUserInfo.asmx
Could you look in C:\inetpub on the server's file system and verify the location where the service was installed?

I don't believe you can shrink a table row to hide the controls in it, but you can place conditional formatting on individual controls to hide them under certain conditions, and if you set the heights of the cells in the table to auto, the row will collapse whenever all the controls in it are hidden.
Also don't forget that a Section ...
