hello,

I have a repeating section which contains 2 controls, 1 checkbox and 1 textbox.  I set up a rule on the checkbox which sets the value of the textbox to the user accessing the form using the UserName sections.  When I add new repeating sections and check the box in the first repeater, it sets the value of the text box in all of the repeating sections.

 Is there any way I can set the checkbox rule to work only on the text box that is associate to that particular checkbox?

That's strange.  When I try to reproduce your setup, it works the way you say you want it to work.  Could you describe the steps you took to set it up, and possibly the structure of the data source behind it?

These are the steps I used:

1. Drag a repeating section from the taskpane into the form
2. Drag a checkbox into the repeating section
3. Drag a textbox into the repeating section (it's automatically bound to field2)
4. Right click the checkbox and choose Rules
5. Click "Add..."
6. Click "Add action..."
7. Select "Set a field's value"
8. Select field2 for the target field, and enter userName() as the expression
9. Click OK to close all the dialogs
