So I guess my question is, How can we develop a Work Around for this issue? This is crazy that a browser-based InfoPath Form, Published to an O365 SharePoint Online Environment cannot make Calls to the GetUserProfile Service. Does anyone Have any ideas?

  • Signature Date!?!

When a user signs a form for some reason the date signed is the date the document was created. This is a major problem seeing users will start a form and not finish them until days later and instead dating it the day it was actually signed it signs it the date it was created. Is there a way to fix this?

Send for approval (this button sends the form to Manager via email) 2. Send for processing (this button sends the form to Operations via email) 3. Submit (this button save ...

  • Re: Default values and calculation limit error

The attached XML file can be used by going to "File>Form Options>Preview" and browsing to it. This file is very minimal and contains only the information needed to invoke the error.

  • Default values and calculation limit error

I have a form template that throws a "number of calculations for a single action exceeded the maximum limit" error while opening. The error must be invoked using a particular set of sample data which will be attached. I narrowed the problem down to the following node/field through trial and error and also by removing nodes from ...

  • InfoPath Form - Email From Field

I created a form for managers to use for submitting standard communications to end users via email in InfoPath 2010. We do not use Sharepoint. The form has a submit button that they click on once they complete filling out the fields in the form. My question, is there a way to edit the email "From" filed to a generic email address ...

I've managed to get the OOTB example working for my own project. I also want to use the dashboard but don't understand to set it up. In the tutorial you say that I must bind the repeating section to the ...

  • TaskPane events

Hi, I have been experimenting with custom TaskPanes in InfoPath 2007 and I have come across some unusual behaviour. If you cast TaskPane[0] to a HtmlTaskPane and then cast the HtmlWindow object to a HtmlWindow2Class. You can then attach a handler to the events such as onfocus etc. This actually works fine and I am currently ...
