Is there a semi straight forward way of hiding or disabling the Save button in an InfoPath 2010 browser enabled list form when in edit mode? I can't find anything. I know it can be done in a form library, but I can't find anything on list forms. Any direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

I guess I have multiple issues here. To begin I only have access to sharepoint 2010 and access 2007. I need to allow the use of attachments ony my form, but when trying to submit to access it will not let me because of a longbinary issue. I have read some posts about how to do this but they are no where near being in lamens terms. I would also be ...

I had this happen to me even though I was using a unique name for the most part. What I had to do was on the sharepoint library I had to allow overwrite and I also set up versioning. The only time I would have the problem is when there was a change to the document and I needed to resubmit, but this option worked for me.

Happy New Year!
My form has a repeating section where inside at the top of it a table holds some controls and at the bottom of it (still inside) another repeating section holds a table with some controls. It's like this because the table at the top of the section contains a dropdown of different Record IDs (lookup from a SharePoint list) and ...

The PO# is unique - I am using it for the filename. My issue is that most of the time sales will not want to "release" the PO# to the service people until a later date.
This is ...

The problem is not your target form - it is set up correctly (see the attached screenshot - I used the command prompt to pass in input params to the form). I think the problem is that your form is on a network location and URL parameters are not being passed in. Will your final form be on a network location? Or published to SharePoint?

If you can take a look i would greatly appreciate it. I can't get it to work.

Thank you for the additional information. The problem here is the form's GUID (Globally Unique Identifier). A quick workaround you can perform is to submit the form three times (per department), and generate a new GUID each time the form is submitted. If you are submitting the form to a SharePoint Library, that would be the file name at ...

I don't know that I've tried this with a form published to a local or network drive, which I am guessing is what you are doing. You can test the command in your target form using the command prompt - you can pass in your input params via command prompt and verify that the target form works. More here - ...
