I would suggest trying intermediate steps to slowly build your total sum. So if your goal is to fulfill two conditions in the sum, perhaps start off with
sum(xdXDocument:GetDOM("Work Order System")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/dfs:Work_Order_System[condition #1]/@Labor_Hours_Total)
then try
sum(xdXDocument:GetDOM("Work Order ...

I'm sorry, I don't know what else I could recommend. Sadly, designing a form for viewing in the browser's UI is not the same as designing the form for viewing in the email UI. That's why many people turn to having separate views (for filling out, for printing, for emailing). Anyway, let us know how things go.

Have you tried changing IE's security settings? I would try adding the website to Trusted Sites and see if that solves the issue, or add it to Local Intranet.
But yes, it's definitely a browser setting if you can't repro in the other browsers and it might even be a per-machine setting.

SharePoint provides the user profile service to access this type of information.
qRules has a command called GetUserProfileByName, but this command relies on SharePoint's User Profile Service.
So, bottom line, whether you access via rules, via code or via qRules, you'll need SharePoint's User Profile Service! Here are a couple of ...

I believe your sum will need to use the same filter. For example, if you're hiding rows where my:TotalHours > 0, your sum would look like this:
sum(my:row[my:TotalHours > 0]/:my:TotalAmount)
I'm attaching a quick sample that you can look at in Design and Preview. Hope this helps!

Sorry, I didn't understand this follow up question.
If the repeating table has 5 rows, then 5 rows should display, unless there's a filter.

Hi-
The typical solution to these type of formatting issues (i.e. when printing or when sending email) is to have separate sections: one section for "filling out" the form and another section for emailing.
This is discussed: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/22656/78476.aspx (there may be other discussions but I find ...

You can go to Form Library Settings > General Settings to change the name.
The URL can't be changed in the same way, however. You'd likely need to delete and recreate if you need to change the URL (and adjust the form, for example, if there's a submit data connection).
Good luck!

If it's InfoPath 2010, select the repeating table and then click Manage Rules. Then click Add > Formatting. There's an option here to Hide the control and what that means is hide the row.
Another option would be to right click on the repeating table control itself, in the view, and select Properties. Then go to Display > Filter ...

When you set up a data connection to a SharePoint list, you'll see two groups in the data source: queryFields and dataFields. The dataFields contains the data your data connection returned. The queryFields allow you to filter. So what you'll likely need to do is:
1. Set up your data connection to the ShP list. Don't set it to ...
