Thanks guys. Upon further investigation I realized I did not in fact have the filter formula right. I have tried again and set up the filtering on the repeating section instead of trying to do it within the calculated value field. The trick was adding a filter within the Conditions of the rule, this is probably grade-school stuff for you guys but ...

Some time ago I created a form with infopath designer 2010. Now I need to link to an access database. I created an empty database with all the fileds I have on the infopath form. How can I link all the fields (from infopath to access)?.

When I set to 2 decimals the same field still shows up with the red box due to invalid data, but I am not sure what makes it invalid.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I've ended up using the options control unless absolutely necessary. Yet this may have to change.
