Hello,
I'm an InfoPath novice in search of some help. I have designed a form for coworkers to submit project proposals. The proposals will be viewed and edited by management and then approved or denied. Once approved, I would like to collect data off of the proposal in an Access database. I don't want to collect data until ...

I am exploring for ways to autopopulate column values while saving a file to a SharePoint Document Library using SaveToSharePoint command. Is it possible by passing the metadata values through SaveToSharePoint command's Argument?
For example, something like...

I have an Infopath form that fills in a bunch of fields and shows them as columns in the form library. Then we have a workflow that updates 4 more fields. We can see the data in the library but when we open the form, the data doesn't show in the corresponding fields. I am not thinking we need to promote the properties because that goes the ...

This document describes a side-by-side scenario, in which the InfoPath form submits separately to DBXL and to the SharePoint Form Library. This tutorial does not use a SharePoint mapping and it does not use the Event Receiver. Please refer to the DBXL Deployment Guide for information about other scenarios.

As far as qRules in general - it adds a ton of functionality to InfoPath forms - but, like I said, we can't add code to SharePoint List forms. Your form would need to be created from one of the new blank templates. What are you trying to do in your SharePoint List form that you were hoping to do with qRules?

I think I am making this harder than it needs to be. I have a simple form that I will be using on a page to search a list.
Three dropdowns: Type, Category, Name
I have the cascading working fine if each fields properties via filtering (thanks to Hilary for teaching me several years ago) HOWEVER
I want my user to be able to ...

Hilary,
Was there a different product I should be using? I work with bunches of Lists and Libraries and in the past when I have had questions, several times the answer was to use Qdabra tools. We are no longer experimenting with SharePoint and are using it more and more so I was able to purchase needed tools.
Let me know your ...

Hi,
I've been having a hard time trying to do something that seems like it should be easy.
I have a repeating table, one field is a drop down field called channel-status.
I also have within my form a text box 'request status'
What I'm trying to do is, when all instances of 'channel-status' have been marked ...
