Hilary,
I have solved the problem, but only after I set this down, walked away and worked on something else for a couple days...
I opened the form in designer today and noticed under File | Info | Form Template Properties that the Name had somehow changed to ActualFormName_OLD. I changed this back to the actual form name and republished ...

I am working on creating an InfoPath form that pulls in data from Access for managers to review and sign off on essentially.
I'm sending out a form of Risks and Risk Scores with data already populated from Access. In addition we'd like the managers reviewing this information to add comments if necessary after each risk and ...

Hi,
You got me confused... I am not sure what you called 1st and 2nd options, but nothing I wrote involved writing code.
What I tried to suggest is a way to write a new record in another "remote" list, by opening a new "remote" form and passing data to it.
Then the new form has to only to be saved with this data.

I'm not sure I understand your question - how are you able to select multiple values in a dropdown? Would you like to attach your form so I can take a quick look?

Hi Mel - thanks for getting back to me. It's good to know (I suppose) that it's a known issue and not just me doing something wrong.
Thanks for the workaround - I'll give it a try. Another workaround that I discovered is to insert a picture into the repeating table (e.g., a "Download Arrow") next to a normal text box that ...

Hi Thanks for the reply but i am on IP 2007 and cannot open the document. until I get home where I have 2010. If the first dropdown is inside a repeating section and multiple values are selected will it still work.
From what you describe, it sounds like it will.

Hi Rob,
This is a known issue in browser forms - hyperlinks added in a view multiple times bound to the same repeating group, displays the same value. One workaround is to create another data connection and bind your second repeating table to that. Hope it works for you.
