Hi harndal,
Welcome to InfoPathDev!
Yes this is possible and I would strongly recommend using a dashboard which will query and display the list of items from the SharePoint library. If you are dealing with 100 entries or more, you can add a search feature (here you can use the drop-down you've mentioned) to narrow down the list of items ...

Thanks for the clarification. Can you verify that the second submit does not create new items at the SharePoint List? I haven't encountered this issue yet but I am guessing that there is something missing in the mapping (i.e no mapping Id - see image below)

Hi Gwen,
I am sorry to hear about the issue you have been encountering regarding the qRules SubmitToSharePointList command. I've just tested performing 2 submit to SharePoint list actions and they were working as expected - submit updates the list item/s. I'd like to clarify the scenario after disabling the two submits that work. ...

Uploading the form should be fine. I just need to see how your form is set up so I would have a better idea of what you are trying to achieve.

Thank you for the additional information. I haven't encountered this one but I'm positive we can find a workaround. Could you send over a copy or a sample of your form so I could run some tests?

I'm a bit lost here. Are you working on two forms (a SharePoint library form and a Custom SharePoint list form)? If you could upload a copy or a sample of your form, I'll be able to check it out and see what isn't working for you.

Hi John,
We have a webinar which tackles Submitting repeating data to a SharePoint list via CAML. You may also check out qRules and use the SubmitToSharePointList command if you wish to avoid using code.

Hi John,
To my understanding you would like to auto-populate repeating field values based on a value from a non repeating section so that the current user won't have to type in the information repeatedly. If that is correct, then I would suggest setting the repeating field's default value to the value of the desired non-repeating field ...

The logic for querying data and setting values is correct. However there is some issue with the query and/or the query filter and I am unable to determine the issue from my end. Here is a video regarding Secondary Data Connections and Filters, or we could look into it for you if you want to purchase a support pack.

I've double checked the form and saw a rule under field1. Could you try to disable or delete that rule? It looks like it's the one causing the issue - setting the Admissions-GradDegree to a blank value.
