You should look into DBXL's QueryDB web service. Its easy to use, requires no custom code, and sounds like it would satisfy your scenario. Here is a link for more info and to download a trial version: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/DBXL.aspx

That's a good quesiton... I'm not sure if the application has a way to print specifically the custom task pane. If all you want to print is text, I imagine you could always copy the content into Word or something and print it from there. Sorry couldn't be more help :(

The people picker will only retrieve these 3 three fields. You can use the UserProfile web service or Qdabra's ADWS if you want to retrieve the email address. It's just a little more work, but could also get you alot more info like manager, etc. if needed.

I don't believe there is a way to make the checkbox read-only and not have it greyed out. You could have calculated value controls display values like Yes/No or Checked/Not Checked and conditionally hide them based on the value of the checkbox. Sounds like what you need are content types. You can set an InfoPath form as a content type and then associate a library with that content type. When you update the form, the changes will propagate out to all your libraries with that content type.

Try removing the default value node from the MSLB control. In 2010 go to Data tab -> Default values -> uncheck the node that the MSLB control is bound to. Hopefully that will do the trick.

In 2010, go to Data tab -> Default Values -> uncheck the field that MSLB control is bound to. That should get rid of your null value.

Hi there,
Looks like this is could be a bug with the people picker control. I would contact MS directly to see if this is a known issue and whether there is a recommended workaround. I'm guessing you want it always disabled because you want to use it as to display information? Consider using another control like a repeating ...

Where are you retrieving the data for the org? Is it from a SharePoint list? SQL database?
Sounds like what you need to do is to create another connection to the Org table and then do a filter on where the ID is equal to the lookup you have and then retrieve the title that way.
