qRules is cheap. It's our way of supporting this forum. We don't make any money off of the forum but we promise to respond to 90% of all InfoPath-related posts. qRules helps us defray some of the cost and it's good for you. We developed it as a way to quickly solve the most common problems out there. It's a developer license ...

You can do that if the form is published to a site that everyone has access to. Just make sure that your users are online. Make sure you specify that the form is attached and that everyone has the same version of Outlook and InfoPath. Your submit should save back to your site and send an email with the form. Hi again,
Were you using the repeating field to capture history? That's an interesting technique. The issue is overwrites. qRules doesn't support specifying a name because if it's not unique we would need some other option to force overwrites or fail if an existing file exists. The underlying date is stored as a string in the XML format which is YYYY-MM-DD. Unfortunately there is no function that will format the date how you want. When you send just the active view, the XML is converted to MHTML and buttons are stripped out since they won't work (no InfoPath business logic going on with plain ...

Hi Tuomo Ilonen2,
I need more details about the security setting for your forms as well as your site. Here are some general observations.
The SharePoint server should be in your domain. When you navigate to the SharePoint site it should be in the Intranet zone. If not that could explain part of the problem.
If you are using digital ...

Just use a link to the XML file. The other InfoPath form will open in a separate instance. There is no way to open an InfoPath form in a modal dialog.
