It is a limit of the secondary data source that it cannot be used in this way. It is only by making the data source the primary data source that such a scenario could be achieved, unless you code the behaviour.

Hi
Worth having your supplier have a look at Forms Viewer from Qdabra would allow them to open the form in IE that way negating the need for the mail to display the message when they can open the attachment instead.
Hope this helps

Hi
IMHO the optional section is the least elegant of solutions just select your section and go into its properties and set that if field 'A' does not equal 'true' then hide. That would sort it. You cannot use expression boxes to do this as there is no way to reference them, use a field instead.

Hi
without code or a workaround this sort of thing is impossible but luckily for you I have a clumsy workaround which will sort this.
Say you only had two currency types and you wanted to show the price in one currency depending on what they picked. Add two identical text boxes linked to the same field. Format one as currency ...

Hi
As Clay says the simplest solution is to use a web service to do versioning, or SharePoint maybe (which is a web service itself) the reason Qdabra developed a versioning tool in the DBXL suite was precisely for this reason. Have a look at http://www.qdabra.com/content/prodinfo/DBXLv2/Qdabra-DBXLBusinessValue.pdf for more ...

Hi
I agree with nukkumatti, it sounds like you query is not looking at the whole date but more the day part of the date hence 28 is less than 29 30 and 31 but not less than 01 02 03 etc.
Sounds like this could be your problem

It is fairly simple to do but to display an array your control needs to be a repeating control or in a repeating table or section. That way it can display multiple results that your query generates.
Any questions feel free to get back to me
I hope this helps as I think your code will work then

Hi
OK if i have made sense of this you have uploaded a load of data onto a web server and want to share it on_load with Infopath?
If this is the case you need to write a web service to present the data then you can give Infopath the web service address to add as a secondary data source, job done.
I hope this helps

Hi
I have just tried this by putting values of 00001 A 1/1/07; 00002 B 2/1/07; 00003 C 3/1/07 and 00004 D 4/1/07 into a three column database as you suggested
I added a query field, a submit button, and an expression box with your function. The problem lies with you treating @Claim_Number as an integer when you max() it or even when ...

Hi
Are you querying the data via the web service or via the database as this could be the difference. From what I understand, the dataset diffgram is used to track changes between the old data and the new data. What I believe the error is saying is that within the diffgram there is a set of data which doesn't match on name the ...
