Hi Peter,
This is a weird error - did you try re-publishing the form to see if maybe something got corrupted on upload? That's really the only thing I can think of.
You say from the web browser - does that mean you are filling it out from a computer that does not have InfoPath installed or are you simplying opening the form from a URL and ...

Hi a_sillero,
Well, I'm gladd the blog post has been of some help. Could you tell us what exactly the problem is? Are you getting any errors? Do the lists work expectedly in some scenarios or is it just completely broken?

Hi Catharine,
Devil in the details. When InfoPath displays "True" and "False" to you through the designer, it is capitalizing the first letter of each word, but this should not be happening. The XML values of true and false are actuall "true" and "false". So you if you make your data ...

I'm not sure what else to tell you. The code looks right, you probably just have a problem with the XPath. Or maybe it is the capitialization of the XDocument.DOM - have you tried stepping through with the debugging or putting in alert statements to watch the state of your variables and method calls?
Sorry, the 1337 references was ...

Hi Jack,
Did the error give a line number? I don't really have time to debug your code. My guess is that it's an XPath error. In general, you should check to see if the selectSingleNode() returns null or not before accessing the .text attribute. We use a helper function to do this and it returns "" if the ...

Hi Jack,
You can't submit Lookup types to SharePoint. I still don't think I understand your problem - can you attach an XSN so I can take a quick look? I haven't worked with SharePoint CAML too much, so I'm not sure how much help I will be, but I can try.

Hi Leo,
Well, if you've got the code working to send e-mails, the code to submit to SharePoint should be relatively easy. I assume you already have the data connection in place to submit to SharePoint, you just need to call it from code. There should be some code samples around the Internet or on this forum to help you do this.

This could be happening for a number of reasons. My first guess is that the query is not finding anything. You need to check if it finds something, before trying to access .text.
var numberVal = -1;
var numberNode = Xdocument.dom.selectSingleNode("/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:Available_Table/Rows/row[@Allocated = ...

Hi Christopher,
This usually means that the web service is unreachable. Can you bring up the ASMX pages in the browser from the computer you are trying to open the form in?

Good luck!
To select the highest, you could either reverse-sort the list and use the same XPath, or change the XPath to this:
/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/AvailableTable/Rows/row[ Allocated = 'OPEN' and Site = 'Fenton' ][last()]/Number
