After the form gets all it's approvals I need to hide/delete/or make the documents not be able to be opened from the form. So here are my thoughts - please let me know if you can help me pick the right way... Have set ... Posted to General (Forum) by tgfo62 on 11-02-2009 Re: Upload an Infopath form rather than publish it Thanks Daniel That's sort of what i did - i created the form and set the submit to overwrite. I have my main forms hidden from the general users, so I just opened a form, filled out something to begin and then submitted it. Now everyone can go in and access that one form from the document library and I don't have to worry about ... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by tgfo62 on 10-15-2009 Upload an Infopath form rather than publish it I have created an infopath form that we will use for metrics throughout the year. I do not want to publish this form to Sharepoint because we will only use the one form for the full year and I don't want anyone accidently starting another one. What I'd like to do is upload the form to a Sharepoint library and have users be able ... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by tgfo62 on 09-09-2009 Re: Quoting Work Flow Thank you. As you say, I know my environment better than you. I think using Views is a personal choice and works well for me and my users in the situation of this particular process. You may have your opinions on this, but so do I. It's easy enough for me to add the conditional formatting to the fields on the one form ... Posted to Workflow (Forum) by tgfo62 on 08-20-2009 Re: Quoting Work Flow You are right, one form, actually 5 different views. The process and workflow continue past the point I'm describing here, but I didn't want to go further because I just need view 1 to be read only once the first approval has gone thru. What I don't think we are "jiving" on is the Views. I am using the ... Posted to Workflow (Forum) by tgfo62 on 08-19-2009 Re: Quoting Work Flow I got around the repeating file attachment by deleting it on the read only view. Then putting the formatting on it. Now, how do i go about telling the workflow that if approval is yes (or no) only open the read only form? Posted to Workflow (Forum) by tgfo62 on 08-19-2009 Re: Quoting Work Flow Ok - let me see if I can make this clearer from my end. First off, I've eliminated the issue of the 2nd form needed to be read only because the approval signature is on that page. I just set everything up under a section and added the digital signature to the section. The person that fills out the second form will submit for ... Posted to Workflow (Forum) by tgfo62 on 08-19-2009 Re: Quoting Work Flow Thanks. I can't disable the ability to use the views though because the second, third, fourth user down the line has to refer back to the original form. Is there a way to disable the view if there is an approval. Perhaps a rule? Then I could just have it come up to the read only version. I think I'm ...
