Must be a bug in InfoPath 2007 then? I have another form that does the view switch just fine... This form I'm working on though... just wierd. Posted to General (Forum) by Kolten on 04-17-2009 Re: Email submissions (current view not displaying) Why would switching views before submit send a blank email? I have this same issue, but require the views be switched before submission. Is this a bug? Is there a work-around? Posted to General (Forum) by Kolten on 04-17-2009 Re: View not submitting with email Ya, unfortunately its not that easy ;) I have all the proper things selected I believe... Without the view switching rule in place, it sends the default view just fine. Unfortunately when switching views, I can _see_ the view being switched, but nothing never gets sent in the email. Posted to Views (Forum) by Kolten on 04-17-2009 View not submitting with email I have a strange issue. I have 2 views - default view (View1) and a "submitted" view (View2). The idea is to switch views after the user clicks the submit button so View2 is submitted via email rather than the default view. View2 holds the same values as View1, but does not use tables. This is necessary for ... Not sure if I can edit xsd files as I will be uploading the form to Forms Services on Sharepoint (don't even know if that matters) I see he doesn't even have a main datasource defined or something... there's no ... Why would it be greyed out? I'm assuming an option setting somewhere, but I can't find anything relevant. EDIT: Oh, I think I see the problem - he used a template downloaded from Office Online, which for some reason ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Kolten on 01-23-2009 Getting prompted when adding custom control Hello, I developed a custom control so a co-worker can use it in his form. On my machine, I can drag and drop the custom control without issue into a Form Template. On his Form Template, when dragging and dropping the custom control, he receives a prompt to "select the field or group to bind to". I do not receive this prompt. He ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Kolten on 01-22-2009 Re: Email Rendering problem Still no solution to this problem, eh? This must be a bug or something because switching to plain text boxes works fine. Unfortunately, that's just not acceptable to a large organization such as ours. Does _anyone_ know anything about this bug? Posted to General (Forum) by Kolten on 07-22-2008 Re: Email Rendering problem So I have it nailed down to the DATE control and sending emails from SharePoint. Sending the form from within InfoPath - email renders correctly. Sending the form from SharePoint - email does NOT render correctly. Removing the date control and sending the form from SharePoint - email renders correctly. What is wrong with the date control, ... Posted to General (Forum) by Kolten on 06-20-2008 Email Rendering problem I have designed a form (InfoPath 2007) that uses sections that hide/show depending on selected values in drop-down lists. It also has a repeating table. The form looks fine when rendered inside of Sharepoint in Internet Explorer, but when the user submits the form to his manager (via email), it is rendered incorrectly in Outlook ...
