Last » Re: Locating a value in a drop-down list by typing Hi Therese, Are you using InfoPath 2007? I was curious about your post, so I tested a drop down control with some 3 digit numbers in it by "tabbing" to the control and typing. It seems that the drop down controls react differently based on the speed you are typing the numbers in. For example, when I typed ... If you create an xml file with the data in it, then you could include it in the form by attaching it as a resource file and referencing it with a secondary data source connection. Then you can filter the values based on your needs. I have had ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by Patrick on 09-12-2008 Help: Multi-state Approval Workflow in SharePoint Designer Hi all, I have an IP 2007 form with a simple schema and one view. I am integrating with SharePoint Server 2007 and using SharePoint Designer for the workflow. The workflow I am trying to create operates by starting in stage1, submitted to group1 for approval and feedback, then moves to stage2, submitted to group2, etc... I am having ... I tried the AppendChild() method and it worked, but the performance was worse :( It was worth a try though. Adding 5 rows took 2.5 times longer than the cloning method. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Patrick on 09-03-2008 Re: repeating table add rows programatically Most of that makes sense to me (what you wrote above), but what about the if statement? If I want to have this run when a button is clicked, then I can just use the rest right? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Patrick on 09-03-2008 Re: repeating table add rows programatically Thank Hilary I will look at using the sampledata.xml, but I'm not entirely sure how to go about using the AppendChild() method. I was playing around with it and I can't seem to get it to do anything, even if it builds correctly. I have a drop down that is in a 'Detail' section and it changes values in a couple fields in the same 'Detail' section. So that would be the same as changing it in the same node/row, correct? Here are my rules: Rule 1 Condition (Always Applies) Action (Set a Field's ... To update, here is the code I adapted to C# from your post earlier:public void CTRL_createSites_Clicked(object sender, ClickedEventArgs e) ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by Patrick on 09-02-2008 Can I have a Rule operate on the selected node only? Hi, I was wondering if anybody knew if there is a way to have a rule operate on the selected node in a repeating table without performing the rule on the rest of the nodes. I realized that this is a major drag on the performance of my form, considering the multiple views with multiple repeating tables. Example being: I ...
