Hi all in merge forms i have been told that we can only merge repeating fields .is there a way to merge the other fields also????? also let's say that i don't want to merge the forms by fields i want to add the forms one after the other and then view them...... how do i do that? thanks nupur

sorry for asking such a basic question..... how do i merge forms i know the view but how do i see the final place where the forms are merged? also instead of merging fields can i merge one form after the other????? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks nupur

is there a way to integrate the infopath forms with LDAP. for example if i want a have a particular value assigned to a variable ....is it possible to do that? \thanks nupur

Hi .. i had a question. Let's say i have a form in which i want a unique field his form would finally be connected to a sharepoint library... this field would be a read only field. if i wanted to generate a sequential unique number in this field for every form..... is there a method to do so????? Hi all wanted to know as to how to create a field in the infopath form which has a serial number assigned to it depending on the form no. for eg for the first form the field value hould be 1 for the second form the field value should be 2 the user should not be able to modify the value of this field as this field would later have to be used to ...

thanks shailja....willl try this do u know if there is any way such that a new field serial number is created and serial numbers are generated automatically on that field.(sorted by ddepartments). eg form 1 for dept mkt is given serial no. mkt-1 form 2 for dept mkt is given serial no. mkt-2 form 1 for dept tech is given serial no. ...

do i have no option of merging a no. of forms? let's say i have a number of forms giving me a feedback of the person...so can't i merge all those forms somehow. and after i changed the coding in jscript i just close the editor and previes the form to see whether or not the code has been successfully implemented???
