Does signing the form keep you from being able to see the data connection username and password? Is there another way to just protect the username and password used for the data connection? I build all the security I want into the form but I dont want users to have any access to just connect to the SQL server and see things in the tables theyre ...

Is there any way to keep the data connection username and password secure? As far as I can tell it will be stored as Clear Text... How can you be expected to have secure forms but then give everyone full access to the SQL server tables? Are there any examples of making the data connection via code, and if so, is the username and password secure?

How do you get around the highlighting when the form is one large repeating section with the data fields all connected to a database? I cannot see how to break it into sub groups. When I try and bind it to something that isnt the root level, it says it has to be bound to a group that repeats... The highlighting is really annoying!

I did try that first and only got errors when trying to open the form.

Is there any way to manually edit the xml files to change the binding for a repeating table? When you change the binding you lose all the formatting to your table. I have several formatted repeating tables set up that I need to change the binding and I dont want to reformat them.

Can you post your example? I am trying to query between two dates and having trouble.

Did you ever figure out how to do this without using a web service? I am trying to do the same thing. Maybe have a button that is a ''Submit as New'' but I do not know code or web services...

I did find an example using the concat function. That did the trick and will do for now. Only problem now is that I want to query the field that has the comma delimited list and because of the , and the space I cant use a simple dropdown for my query selection. Can you think of a rule that will allow for the comma and space? I have a dropdown ...
